Hello friends! They are finally here:
I'm so happy to be celebraring with you the Pinkfresh Studio release of these amazing 24 ink colors. It's been a long wait but we can finally enjoy them!
To celebrate this release I've created a clean design using the Handpicked Flowers set. It's no only a beautiful bouquet of flowers, it has so many small leaves and flower shapes that I thought it'd be perfect to showcase these new dreamy colors.
I love to leave a lot of white space in my designs so as to achive a lot of contrast with the colored images. I followed that design again adding a lot of texture to all my white elements:
Once I run my front panel through my die cutting machine using the Nested Arches die set, I dry emboss it with the Geo Arch Hot Foil.
I adhered the Floral Outline Frame onto my cardbase and foam mounted mu dry embossed panel on top.
I really really enjoy ink blending. It's by far my favorite technique ever so I pulled out the coordinating stencils of this Hankdpicked Flowers and got ready for the fun. I try to follow a color combo before I start coloring so I decided to work with for ink families: violets (Sheer Fressia, Hydrengya and Opulence); yellow greens (Lemoncello, Citron, Bey Leaf) yellow greens (Eucaliptus, Spruce Tips, Lush Forest) and pinks (Cherry Blossom and Peony).
Lastly I added some leafy accents using the Leafy Branch Die and some Metallic Pearls in Matte Silver and stamped the sentiment from the Humbled & Grateful set in black.
