Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Release Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday friends!

It's release day over at Pinkfresh Studio! Yes, we are celebrating their Essentials release with lots of inspiration and prizes.

I've created four designs to showcase one of my favorite products from this release: the Blanket Stitched Brackets die set :

I had this fun fold design in mind from the moment I saw the Blanket Stitched Brackets die set. I started out by stamping two A2 panels with the small floral stamp from the Framed Art Stamp set with several shades of yellows, pinks and oragnges to create a gradient look. I used Sunshine, Apricot, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Mango Sorbet, Cherry Blossom and Mulberry Blush. Next up I cut out these two panels using the Blanket Stitched die and folded them following the scored line that the die leaves in the paper. I decided to decorate the card front using the largest of the Decorative Frames Press plates hot foiled in Gold glimmer. I adhered two stripes of the new Fancy Edgers die and glued the glimmer frame on top. Next up I glued the flaps of the Blanket Stitched Brackets under the front panel and adhered another white A2 panel behind to cover the folds.

For the sentiment I used the Bassic Banners Everyday Stamp. gold heat embossed in gold.

For this project I repeated the process of the previous design but this time I only created one panel. I used the same Framed Art Stamp set  and used Sunshine, Mustard Seed, Cherry Blossom, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Peony and Waterfall. I cut out this panel with the Blancket Stitched Bracket die and folded it onto an A2 panel. I decided to add two stripes I cut out using the new Fancy Edgers die set under my Blanket panel. I also cut out a frame out of Glacier Glitter cardstock using both dies of the Blanket Stitched die set and foam mounted it on top of my panel, offsetting it a but for a fun look. Before I adhered this panel onto my cardbase I adhered another dry embossed panel with the Plaid Press Plate.

Finally, I white heat embossed the Beautiful Branch stamp set and foam mounted on top of my panel adding lots of Clear drops in the center of my vellum flowers. The sentiment is from the Here for you sentiment stamp set.

For this project I decided to use the smallest Blanket die from the Blanket Stitched Brackets die set to create two windows. I clear heat embossed the Print Shop Modern Botanicals stamp set onto an A2 panel and cut out two panels I used as a backdrop for my windows. I slightly inked up my window brackets with Cherry Blossoms and tucked lots of flowers inside. I colored these modern botanicals with Cherry Blossom, Peony, Mulberry Blush, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Grassy Knoll and Olive. I love the the effect of the new Fancy Edgers die set, so this time I also added two strips of one of these dies to decorate my window panels.

I really love the look of dry embossed backgrounds so I always tend to add some extra texture to them. This time I used the Twist Pattern Press Plate to dry emboss my front panel and then added my Blanket Stitched Brackets windows on top.

For my last project I also created a window with the largest of the Blanket Stitched Brackets die . The idea was to offset this Bracket die cut a bit to achive another fun look. I ended up placing this diecut so the window looked like a big Hexagon window. I used four stripes I created with the Fancy Edgers die to decorate the center of my front panel and foam mounted my large bracket on top. I decorated this window with lots of greenery I gold foiled from the set Kindness in Bloom press plate set. I colored these leaves with Spruce Tips, Citron, Bay Leaf, Clementine, Mimosa and Cherry Blossom.

I dried embossed the Dotted Petals Press Plate onto my cardbase and adhered my Bracket window on top. For the sentiment I used the new Here for you sentiments Press Plate with glimmer foil in Satin Rose Gold.

Your cards are always so lovely, and I really appreciate the way you take an idea and keep stepping it up and pushing the boundaries to produce a cohesive look, yet not matchy-matchy.
