This week's challenge "Reto tarjeta semanal" is about using color stripes on our cards. Well that's probably one of my favorite techniques of all time but it doesn't mean I struggled. Having made so many cards with this technique I wanted to create something different and you know what happens when you want this WOW look, well, our ideas just don't come as we want and I'm not so happy about how these turned out...However, I learned a few things along the way and that's what matters most:
I started by creating these oval frames using Hero Arts Infinity Oval dies to die cut a panel on which I had previously adhered several stripes. The rest was simple, for the sentiment I used these huge and gorgeous Lora Bailora alphabet dies to create the word YOU. Once I die cut them I dried embossed with one of my WRMK embosing folders. I love to add some texture to the otherwise plane letters. I also adhered the word Adore from Kesi'art to complete the sentiment.
For this one, I used the exact same technique with slightly different colors. The "Thank" word is from Pinkfresh Studio Classic word set.
